Ephesians 1 - Day 2

v1 - Paul - an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God
v1 - Jesus Christ - Paul was His apostle
v1 - God - willed Paul to be an apostle of Jesus Christ
v1 - Ephesus - the epistle written to the saints of the city of Ephesus
v1 - Christ Jesus - the saints of Ephesus were faithful to Christ Jesus
v2 - God - our Father, He gives us grace and peace
v2 - Lord Jesus Christ - He along with God the Father gives us grace and peace
v3 - God - the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, He has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ
v3 - Lord Jesus Christ - our spiritual blessings come through Him from the Father
v3 - Christ -
v5 - Jesus Christ - we are predestined as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself
v6 - the Beloved  - Christ made us accpted in the Beloved
v10 - Christ - all things in heaven and on earth are gathered together  in Christ
v12 - Christ - those who first trusted in Christ are the praise of His glory
v13 - Holy Spirit - those who believe in Christ are sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise
v15 - Lord Jesus - Paul heard of the Ephesians faith in the Lord Jesus and their love for the saints
v17 - God - the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ and the Father of glory
v17 - Lord Jesus Christ -
v20 - Christ - God worked His mighty power in Christ by raising Him from the dead and seating at His right hand


Paul prays for us to receive from God the spirit of wisdom and the revelation in the knowledge of Him. (v17) God gives us wisdom and knowledge and the wisdom and knowledge come when we are enlightened by seeing Jesus.
